Wonders of the Week

I have been very stressed out with work this week but Sunday makes me feel SO much calmer. Here is what I've been enjoying this week despite essay trauma!

5.) GOSH nail lacquer in 'Peachy'
This is such a good formula and really chip-resistant if you pop a clear top coat over it. At £5 a bottle in Superdrug it is a reasonable price for a quality product so I think I will purchase some more colours.

4.) Birthday Dress
My mum kindly bought me this dress to wear out for my 21st birthday which in a couple of weeks. I like it because it strikes the right balance between chic and fun. I plan on jazzing it up with jewellery, big hair and red lipstick. Available here.

3.) Body Shop Mango Shower Gel

I am a sucker for a shower gel. As a student for a while I'd been using whopping bottles from Poundland but after using this I don't know whether I can go back. Rather amazingly it is soap-free but lathers incredibly. The smell is also gorgeous. Currently available here

2.) Homeland
If you haven't seen this I'd recommend catching it on 4OD. Powerfully gripping and a modern and fresh drama. Our very own Brit Damian Lewis in a demanding role which will no doubt grab him many awards.

1.) Magazine Freebies
It seemed for a few years there was a lag in freebies for 'proper' magazines, but recently everyone has been climbing on the bandwagon, at great benefit for the reader. Although Glamour has always had excellent freebies such as the Nails Inc. polishes, Marie Clare brings us a proper bargain with this Neal's Yard moisturiser for only £3.70 including the magazine. After only two uses my skin feels really quite different! I believe this is owed to all the natural ingredients. I think I will snap up another issue of the magazine because I'm addicted, and it retails at £12!

Glamour has Percy & Reed hair products free with their magazine for only £2 which is a fabulous bargain, and Cosmo has two mini Clinique products with every issue. Bargain crazy.

I urge you to get yourself one! Hope you've all had a wonderful week.
